Six Days of Sharing

National Honor Society coordinated the Six Days of Sharing Event at East High School November 27th through December 7th.  They collected household supplies, canned or boxed food, baby items and toys, clothing, school supplies, and money to be donated to a variety of community organizations, including Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service and St. Charles Crisis Nursery. This year’s collection was a competition between 1st-hour classes.  The class with the greatest participation(items/student) will receive a breakfast of Panera bagels and cream cheese.  Also, the teacher of the winning class will receive a $20 gift card to Target! The second & third place classes will earn doughnuts and their teacher will receive a $5 gift card.

Congratulations to Mrs. Hayes' Advanced Composition class for their 1st place finish, Mrs. Cork's Academic Support class for their 2nd place finish, and Mrs. Weiser's Human Body Systems class for their 3rd place finish. Thank you to all of our staff and students for supporting our community during the Six Days of Sharing Event.
