Curriculum & Activities Showcase on 1/19 , 6-7:30 pm on black background with gold confetti

On January 19, 2023, beginning at 6:00 pm, Fort Zumwalt East will host our Curriculum and Activities Showcase, an event that combines our traditional Curriculum Night as well as our Activities and Sponsors Night. The purpose of this showcase is to provide the opportunity for parents and students to meet with department representatives in each curricular area to ask questions about student course selections. Coaches and club sponsors will be available to answer any questions and provide information on how students can be more involved in the upcoming school year.

The evening will begin with introductions and an overview of credit requirements for graduation, college, and career readiness resources and the upcoming course selection process. Our Curriculum Night guests will then have the opportunity to tour some of our specialized curricular areas including Project Lead the Way (PLTW), World Language, Business, and Industrial Technologies workshops. Guests will be able to speak directly to the experts from both these specialized areas as well as our core department areas (Math, Science, English, Social Studies). Additionally, we will have optional breakout sessions on the benefits of taking Accelerated & AP courses, the Zumwalt Apprenticeship Program, and much more.

As an added benefit, we will have tables set up in the commons with each of our activity offerings represented.  Our head coaches will be present to speak with anyone interested in learning more about our various sports at FZE, and our sponsors will be there to provide information about our clubs and organizations.

Our East Side Espresso Coffee Bar will be open for you to sample and purchase our newest products (cash only), and Booster Club will also be selling our latest lion gear.

We are excited to see you and showcase all that East High has to offer!
