The East High Counseling Department is hosting Career & College Spirit Week October 30th - November 3rd.
Monday- October 30, 2023 - Let’s celebrate Careers in the Military!
1. Spirit Wear - Represent those going into the Military - Wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE!
2. At Lunch - Military Representatives at lunch. Stop by to chat with the recruiters!
3. HELP SESSION - Seniors - Stop by the library at lunch to get help completing your college applications, Common App, etc.
Tuesday -October 31, 2023 - College Day!
1. Spirit Wear - Wear your favorite college/tech school t-shirt!
2. At Lunch - Mini College Fair at Lunch! Stop by and chat with the College representatives!
Wednesday- November 1, 2023 - More College/Career Fun!
1. Spirit Wear - Future interview Day! Dress to IMPRESS!
2. At Lunch - Have you been accepted into college (2 yr, 4 yr, tech/trade) or the military?! Stop by the College Acceptance Photo Booth to get your picture taken along with a souvenir (*while supplies last).
Thursday- November 2, 2023 - Career Day!
1. Spirit Wear: What do you want to be when you grow up? Wear your future career interest outfit.
2. HELP SESSION - Do you need help with college and/or career exploration? Stop by the library at lunch to get help finding the right fit for you!
Friday - November 3, 2023
1. Spirit Wear - Show your Lion Pride! Wear your Class Shirt or Lion Pride shirt!
2. Teachers - Please take a few minutes each hour to discuss your college/career experience with your students, answer questions, etc.
3. HELP SESSION - Counselors will be available in the library at lunch to help with any college and career questions. Stop by for some candy too!
