Red Ribbon Week begins Thursday, October 23rd! This is an important week to spread education and awareness about the impact drug use has, specifically on teenagers. To celebrate and learn more, students will have lessons, spirit days, create banners and an opportunity to attend a networking session.

Spirit Days
Thursday, 10/23: “The Future is Bright.” Wear your College/Career gear!
Friday, 10/24: Wear Red to Support a Drug Free Lifestyle.
Partnered with Halloween Week!
10/27: Monster Monday. “Scare Away Drugs!”
10/28: Duo Day. “Team Up Against Drugs!”
10/29: Dress like an Athlete. “Don’t Play with Drugs!”
10/30: Color Wars (orange, black, purple, or green)
10/31: Halloween theme
Red Ribbon Designs
Blank ribbons will be available in the library. Students and staff can design/color their ribbons to support the pledge to live a drug free life. The designed ribbons can be returned to the counseling office and they will be displayed on the banner in the commons.

Friday, October 31st: Discuss coping skills and activities to stay away from drugs.
