Pile of Essence of LIM gold medals

The East High Auditorium was filled with energy on March 16, 2026 as East High hosted its annual "Essence of Leader in Me" ceremony. The Leader in Me program demonstrates the district’s commitment to developing leadership qualities that enhance academic excellence and foster leaders of great character.

To be eligible for this honor, students must demonstrate on a daily basis the habits of good leadership through their attitudes and actions. With these characteristics in mind, teachers and staff nominated individuals they felt truly embodied the spirit of the program.
