Mrs. Molly Molitor- Assistant Principal

Good Afternoon Hawthorn Community,

My name is Mrs. Molly Molitor, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new assistant principal joining the Hawthorn family. With 19 years of experience in education, I most recently served as the principal at St. Theodore School in Flint Hill, MO.  Before that, I worked as a kindergarten and second-grade teacher with the Wentzville School District, where I also held the role of assistant principal from 2017 to 2022.

I have heard nothing but positive feedback about Hawthorn Elementary, and I eagerly anticipate meeting each of you and becoming a part of this great community. My family and I reside in St. Paul, where we are actively involved in our local community. We have three amazing children: Maddey who is 11 and will be starting middle school, Max, who is nine and will be entering 4th grade, and my youngest, Mia, who is 7 and will be in 2nd grade.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I am excited to share a few fun facts about myself: My favorite color is blue. I am originally from Normal, IL. I am fortunate to have 19 nieces and nephews. Before becoming an educator, I danced in various parades and shows throughout Walt Disney World. (Festival of the Lion King was my favorite!)

I am truly honored to be a part of Hawthorn Elementary and look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the school community.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to introduce yourself—I would love to hear from you.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Molly Molitor

Assistant Principal, Hawthorn Elementary
