DESE’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Council is asking students, parents, business leaders, and educators to take five minutes to share your general perceptions of CTE programs in Missouri. Congratulations to Fort Zumwalt School District’s 2023 National Merit Scholarship Finalists. These nine Fort Zumwalt seniors are among the top scorers on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) taken by more than 1 million high school juniors at more than 22,000 high schools across the nation. They represent less than 1 percent of high school students and are among almost 8,000 seniors across the nation to share in roughly $35 million in scholarships. Fort Zumwalt’s National Merit Finalists are:

Congratulations to Zenidene El Farissi, Aiden Hoffman and Ethan Wilson for rocking at the Missouri High School Cybersecurity Challenge Finals yesterday in Columbia. Our team went toe to toe with the best in the state and virtually tied for 8th place. Over 50 teams from 22 school districts across the state and our squad - the Cyber Sentinels - represented East High with Pride!
